V-Bar Rows | How to Perform V-Bar Rows | PWRBLD App

The standing V-bar row is a variation of the T-bar row that is done standing with a barbell and v-bar attachment. Here are the steps to perform the standing V-bar row with a barbell:

  1. Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent.
  2. Hold a V-bar attachment on a straight barbell with an overhand grip, palms facing down, and hands about shoulder-width apart.
  3. Bring the bar up to your chest level, keeping your elbows close to your body.
  4. Pull the bar towards your chest by retracting your shoulder blades and squeezing your back muscles. Keep your elbows close to your body as you pull.
  5. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the bar back down to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Tips:

Keep your core engaged and your back straight throughout the exercise to avoid excessive swinging or arching of the back.

Make sure to use a weight that allows you to maintain proper form and control throughout the exercise.
